Top 25 Polls Released: Nova Still on the Bubble

It’s another Monday, while many of us rolled out of bed to go to work and class, the new polls for the week were released. Michigan State has taken the top spot after taking down Kentucky last week.

Villanova has received votes both the AP and the Coaches’ Poll, but is still on the outside looking in. They have been on the bubble for three straight polls. The Wildcats will get a chance to improve their current standing with Delaware this Friday and then the Battle 4 Atlantis event taking place next week.

Our friends from the Big East, Marquette and Creighton, are ranked in the Top 25. Marquette dropped eight spots to #25 and Creighton finally broke on through into the rankings, sitting at #23. Xavier is right behind Villanova in the votes received, having one less than the Wildcats. In the Coaches’ Poll, Creighton is once again ranked #23 while Marquette is out of the top 25.
