Weekly Polls & Bracketology: Still Top 10

-Philly.com

Another week has passed as the college basketball world approaches closer and closer to the post season. We look back at a week that included a big win over DePaul and a crushing loss yesterday against Creighton. The Wildcats are still looking pretty good for the NCAA tournament. They may have fallen, but they are still projected as a 3-seed. As expected, they took a hit in the polls and fell. The Wildcats dropped three slots to #9, not too far from where they were last week. There was a lot of movement all around in the polls, as there were a number of upsets that took place, especially in the last 24 hours. Fellow Big East member and adversary, Creighton, moved up to #11. They share it with Louisville. Here’s a look at the polls, courtesy of ESPN:

AP Poll:                                                                 Coaches Poll:

Upcoming opponents this week include a game against Providence that plays very well at home and a St. John’s game at the Wells Fargo Center to top it off. A preview for the Providence game will be released later today.
