The students' perspective on Villanova Sports.

State of the Nova Nation: Episode 8

In our season finale of State of the Nova Nation, freshman swimmer Darby Goodwin chats with us about her experiences at Villanova so far. She’s coming off of record-setting performances in the 100m and 200m backstroke from this past weekend at the Big A.I. Open. We take an in-depth look at the Villanova-Oklahoma basketball game, and insights after a tough loss. Also on the show, we wrap up the volleyball season and take recap the other events in Villanova Athletics from this past weekend.

It was a week of road trips. The indoor track team was probably the closest, traveling down the Main Line to Haverford. Both basketball teams headed out west, with the men’s team in Hawaii and the women’s team over at California. The volleyball team and the indoor track team stayed on the east coast, with volleyball over at Penn State and the track team heading up to Princeton.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen over the semester (there’s a giant list at the end) and an even bigger thank you for tuning in!
