On Sunday, the Big East Conference announced the All-Conference selections. Four Wildcats were recognized for their play this season: Josh HartRyan ArcidiaconoDaniel Ochefu, and Jalen Brunson.

After spending last season coming off of the bench, Hart has blossomed into a full-time starter and Villanova’s leading scorer. He finished the regular season averaging 15.3 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game. The junior forward was the lone Villanovan to make First Team All-Big East. He is in the conversation for Big East Player of the Year, which will be announced later this week.

Arcidiacono received All-Big East accolades once again, earning Second Team All-Big East honors this time around. The senior guard notched his 500th career assist in the game against Georgetown on Saturday. He finished averaging 11.7 points per game and 4.5 assists per game.

Ochefu was given a Big East honorable mention for the second straight year, after a season where he averaged 10.3 points per game and 8.1 boards per game. The 6-foot-11 senior landed amongst the top five in the conference for shooting percentage, rebounds, and blocks.

As for Brunson, the much heralded freshman was named to the All-Big East Freshman Team. His first year on the Main Line culminated in a season where he scored 10.5 points per game, shooting a touch above 45 percent on the floor and 36.3 percent from long range.
