It’s Villanova’s third straight time making it to the Big East Tournament finals, while this is Creighton’s first finals appearance. Will experience come on top?
Villanova captured the regular season title for the fourth consecutive year. After falling just short of the Big East Tournament championship, it will try to make it back to the finals for the third season in a row. Wednesday marks the beginning of the Big East Tournament in New York. Over half of the Big East teams are currently slated to go dancing later in March, but a couple of those could use a few more wins to add to their resume and solidify a spot. After spending Tuesday on the disabled list, we have some catching up to do. We recap the beatdown at Seton Hall, and the disappointing letdown against Butler. The Bulldogs snap a 48-game winning streak at the Pavilion. Villanova will get to redeem itself at home on Senior Night, which will be the final home game of the year.
